Ayin me-Yesh 01:07

Water, Drown you, Then conceive as the womb, Death is just a dream, A dream within a dream, The world, The fool, Kether into Malkuth, Union in utero, Snake bite its own tail, To open the door, You unlocked on your last journey, Come the cycle once more, We dream in ancient starlight, Our souls of water too, We morph as ripples on the universal sea, And God is in the rain, Undying spiralling, Both waking and asleep, Eyes closed as we awake, Through dreams for then we truly see, Rejoice at the truth you have found, For all stages of the cycle, Are eternal and recur on a blank slate, So the journey is new once again, But each time to ascend, Use the magickal memory, And the rain that knows no time, Then you'll see all your past lives, And spiral high, Spiral high, Old souls rise, Live past lives, Wake through your dreams, Take the final step, Be born again at last...

Erato Lives 04:34
My only escape from starless nights, And windowless rooms of suffocation, Dream of the sea and the sky and nations, Familiar to some – my emancipation, Confined as I plan the unveiling, A mirror of life and death unbroken, The words that move and the symbols sounding, The sails of the ship to bear our freedom, Come the time, You'll break out of this life, I can see the world below, From up here I could conquer all, Take a step back and view the scale, And all your woes are dwarfed in space, An unending force, I was bitten by you, My life's blood infused with an aspiration, Perennial uncured inspiration, The song's everlasting life of its own, I asked and received, And you came unto me, Or made yourself known from deep within me, A collage of black and white, And everything between the night and the day, Now be realised, I can see the world below etc, I can see the world below, From up here my perspective shows me, That I'm searching far too close, And missing all that I could know, Won't you now be realised, Come to life, I can see the world below etc, Star-filled sky, Open window...

Late Love 06:03
Do you know truth? What you see with your eyes or mind, Senses as proof, Yet they lie to you all the time, This reality is what you make it, Emanating all that lies deep within your psyche, A world beneath your skin, Not a word from the grave, Yet you know... So you know, As your life is falling apart, You can't be without, Late Love, And the bridge between two worlds, Just might bring it back, Even though, Once you smiled and laughed at the dark, Now you're searching it, For some means, Even magick could play a part, In reunion! Am I deceiving myself or the world this night? For I swear that I caught her within my sights, Took the body from the place of rest, Veil and shroud of grey, Lit the candles, Bled myself on the page, To cease decay, Eyes open again, Spirit caged in flesh, Torn back from beyond, In rage... So you know... Was her soul, One with body or free on its own? To cross over, Mine is sold, Evocation I could not control, Death for life not free. Eyes open again... So you know... Now her soul, Is vengeful at forceful return, By my mortal hands, And in death, Bearing power that I will soon know, Across the bridge we go.

Narrow fingers move over me, Clutch at my throat as I breathe, Can I feel the presence of death nearing? Imagining the hands belong to him, Calling from the road, Fate whispered chance upon the wind, Unforeseen voice said maybe, Fate whispered life and legacy, A silent calling from the road etc Lamentations sound in my sleep, A familiar strange threnody, Defying time, Uniting each memory, Into waking hours it bleeds, Calling from the road...

Fate, Is born with you, But wait, Your path decided too soon, You hate what you always do, And your late, For the path decided for you, So many people, Blind and hear no more, And as they race towards their graves, They find there's nothing left to say, So many people, I can hear them all, And as they race towards their graves, Condemned to life is what they say, Our state, Is a funny thing, Look straight down the pyramid of false kings, Made by the few and far, To jade any thoughts of change from this farce, So many people... You are condemned to life, Over in no time.

When the winter ends and the night is done, The long days return, What was old and dying recurs again, To the earth reborn in youth, And so our lives they turn, Like earth in shadow and sun, And so the gift of life, And light is blessed by darkness and death, A cycle of balance, All is for all, Circle I accept your way, Pleasure and pain, Equal as you rise and fall, Night will lead to day, The sun on its way, Must set and then rise again, And so our lives...

Astral Park 03:44
Straight away as you fall into slumber, Eyes open up again and start a journey, Through the endless night of waking sleep, Sailing past the spheres and nebulas, Long before where and when time was itself a dream, In a place to far by earthly roads, And existence as we know, Where the abstract and the soul, Are in plain sight, To those who would but look, Motion is matter, Emotion aurora, Thought comet, Unconscious eclipse, And if you would call out my name, Be lost in the aeons of cosmic proportion, I soar through the astral rain, The stars are cascading and Gaia can't hear them, Satellites and children of the suns, Pass my sight as I'm moving all the time – a constellation, A circle in the sky, Motion is matter...

Translunar 04:55
Where all light it goes, Can't escape the dark, A vengeful god, Swallowing the worlds, Fleeing expanding, One day be consumed, Can't you hear the universe sing? The song that's always ending, A requiem overture, Must be returned to endure, This world was made from the last, Nature returned it to dust, Nothing destroyed but remade, Function to be made again, All-consuming one of every soul, Eater of the light, The blackest hole, Snake that bites the tail, You are immortal, Beautiful, You make all endings possible, Myth happened someday, Even fiction lived, In another age, Time and place, Maybe when we're imagining, We're seeing what used to be, Every story's not just been told, It happened in a cycle of old, This world was made from the last... Nature of the world, The nature of us, Returned to dust, To be made again.

Too many ways to choose from, Every moment echoes through time, Accelerating with every question, And indecisions that multiply, One day you just have to take, A chance and sacrifice, To gain something from risks you took, To change the Same, Oh where did the sun go? It passed right through the eyes of life and death, To light them all, Oh where did the sun go? It cast us into dark to share its light and thank it more, Oh where did the sun go? It never moved, Suspended in the balance as we journey on and on It is our path, That changes day, Into the night, The sun remains, In the same place, It's always there, We are the change, It's hard to be, The master of your own trajectory, And understand darkness will always be, But so will the light it's just how you see, In context the journey, You create your own heaven or hell, Your fate at the mercy of the gods within you, All of space and time confined within your mind. Oh where did the sun go?

A song was sounded at your birth, An overture of your life's worth, Prescient, timeless melody, Resounding as it joins the universal symphony, Notes are written in the staves of the stars, All plays in harmony within and far, And the dissonance returns to plague your wakeful mind, Insignificance, yet all this can be one you'll find, A comet streaks across the sky, To answer all your cries of purpose undefined, Hear for the first time, The music of the spheres resides, Inside so do you see? The universe the limit to your being. All alive celestial bodies, Who radiate and change the course of all that could be, Man the only being set at odds with himself, Tries to conquer and deny that single wealth, Wave upon the cosmic sea, It breaks with nothing lost, One among a million, Through their harmony no cost, And a singular ocean, A comet streaks across the sky... The music of the spheres... A paean to all space and time, The song will never die but reprise, So unite and see the answer!

Where to begin? With what has no start or ending, Or linear form of man, A principle that transcends all planes, The only constant, Ripples through eternity, The eye that perceives everything, Nature of the world, (Seen in atoms), All spheres that make one, (Move in circles), And orbit something that orbits something, Primary of Primaries, On and on... So what can we make of this? We're merely just mice, To cosmic monoliths that blink in our time, We're dwarfed on all sides, So focused on life, It seems long when in truth we're barely alive, What purpose to it all? What truth can we find? With so much waiting there to drown our small minds, But then consider it, The solipsist's eye, That this is all projected from deep inside, For the universe and the microcosm traverse, All obscurity between the farthest stars and earth, Like reflections of the cosmos on the sea, They are symbols earth plays host to galaxies, So, like pillars on the tree, The earthbound and free, Can know a bond across eternity, For in titans of space, The principle is traced, And even mice can cast a great shadow. We are sailing through aeons on an ocean of rounded harmony, A break in the waves a cosmic second and we will cease to be, We are seeking out constants in a questionable reality, Can there be one factor that persists through all levels to clarity? We are searching the stars when all the answers lie introspectively, A place of all mirrors, Can the circle transcend the illusory? So much beauty to find in the rotations of all spheres, But beware of the adverse or be trapped in routine years, Everything has happened yet can happen all again, For the concentric circles harness power of all When. Water in the spirit of all things that live and die, Old as all creation, Made of spheres immune to time, Each drop sending waves, (Concentric Circles) Through all of existence, (Concentric Circles) All stories the same, Sea primordial, Self-created god of gods in oneness, Start and end is all the same, Looks far with close eyes and is immersed in life, Unending by nature, Rain falls hard, Energy and matter break their bonds, And change form like water, Immortal, Cyclical destruction is inception, Floods are now the womb... Though the sea is multiple levels, Could there still be more? Centres far but not by travel, But comprehension or both combined, Two worlds with man as the centre, One the body, one soul, Still the symbol, the simple enigma, Enduring through all, Could the distance become so far, That the two are as one? A remoteness beyond understanding, Beyond black holes and the ending of matter, Come the cycle we'll assume some vessel again, As nothingness foretold, Extremes meet and the spirit of water infused, Transmutation not death! We are sailing through aeons... So much beauty to find... Irony of all this searching in circles, In more than one sense of the matter at hand, Sufi dance, Feeding the snake its own tail for eternity, Truth and lie all just perspective. Moving in concentric circles we are travelling on, Drop upon the sea of seas one moment never gone, Moving in concentric circles we are travelling on, Moving with the rain of aeons life and death as one, We are travelling on...

about

Concentric Circles is the 72 minute debut album by progressive UK band Oraton. Featuring a natural, honest production without use of correctional software and sample-replaced drums, the album undoubtably captures a human element that is so lacking in most genres of the current music scene, whilst still sounding tight, rehearsed and energised. With hints of grunge, rock and metal accompanying the progressive roots, the album contains 11 tracks of a sensible length (including a brief introductory track) before concluding with the 22 minute title track that closes in a fitting eponymous, lyrical fashion.
